The Story of Lakestone

Established in McFarland, Wisconsin, our development company has become a trusted name in the local real estate industry. We pride ourselves on our expertise in both in-house property management and development. Over the years, we have successfully executed numerous projects, contributing to the growth and vitality of the Dane County community.


Our company was founded in 2010 by Brett Riemen and Brian Spanos who shared a vision for creating exceptional multifamily developments in the Dane County area. With a strong foundation in real estate and a deep understanding of the local market, our goal was to establish a company that would prioritize quality and community integration.


From the onset, our company set our to create multifamily developments that seamlessly blend aesthetics and functionality.
